Aquanix Warranty & Repairs Policy

Effective date: February 1, 2026

This Warranty & Repairs Policy applies to purchases made from Aquanix (“Aquanix,” “we,” “us”) through our website by customers in Canada and the United States.

Aquanix is a licensed Kasco Repair Center. We can help coordinate troubleshooting, warranty evaluation, and repairs for eligible products. Warranty terms vary by manufacturer and product model; this page explains how warranty and repair requests are handled through Aquanix.

1) Manufacturer Warranties

Most products we sell (including aeration systems/components, de-icers, fountains, control panels, AquatiClear units, and related mounts/accessories) are covered by a manufacturer warranty rather than an “Aquanix warranty.”

Important: The manufacturer’s warranty:

  • May require product registration
  • May require troubleshooting steps before authorization
  • May exclude damage caused by improper installation, misuse, electrical issues, freezing, debris, improper storage, or normal wear

Where a manufacturer warranty applies, the manufacturer is the warranty provider, and Aquanix acts as a service/support partner to help you through the process.

2) What Warranty Typically Covers (General Guidance)

While coverage varies by brand/model, warranties commonly cover:

  • Defects in materials or workmanship under normal intended use
  • Certain component failures within the warranty period

Warranties commonly do not cover:

  • Normal wear (e.g., wear parts, consumables)
  • Damage from improper installation or wiring
  • Damage from running equipment without proper water flow (where applicable)
  • Damage from freezing, impact, debris, vandalism, lightning/surges, or acts of nature
  • Commercial-use exclusions (if product is residential-only) or vice versa
  • Modifications or use of non-approved parts

For exact coverage, refer to the product’s included documentation or contact us and we’ll point you to the correct manufacturer terms.

3) First 7 Days After Delivery (DOA / Shipping Issues)

If your item arrives damaged, defective, or incorrect, contact us within 7 days of delivery at [email protected].

Please include:

  • Order number
  • Photos/video of the issue
  • Photos of packaging and shipping label

We’ll determine the fastest resolution (replacement, repair coordination, or refund where appropriate).

4) How to Request Warranty Support

To start a warranty claim or repair request:

Email: [email protected]

Subject line: Warranty/Repair Request – Order #[YOUR ORDER NUMBER]

Include:

  • Order number (or proof of purchase)
  • Product name + model (and serial number, if available)
  • Description of the issue and when it started
  • Photos and/or video (highly recommended)
  • Installation details (where applicable): power source, control panel settings, mounting, water depth/conditions, etc.

Troubleshooting first: Many manufacturers require basic troubleshooting before authorizing repair/replacement. Aquanix may ask for additional information to confirm symptoms, installation, or operating conditions.

5) Repairs Through Aquanix (Kasco Repair Center & Other Products)

For eligible Kasco products, Aquanix may be able to:

  • Evaluate the issue
  • Coordinate warranty authorization
  • Complete repairs where permitted under manufacturer programs

For non-Kasco brands, we can often still help with:

  • Troubleshooting and diagnosis guidance
  • Coordinating the correct manufacturer service pathway
  • Packaging/shipping guidance for service returns (when applicable)

Authorization required: Some repairs require a manufacturer-issued authorization/RMA before shipment or service.

6) Costs, Shipping, and Fees

Warranty and repair costs depend on whether the issue is covered by warranty.

If the issue is covered under warranty (as determined by the manufacturer):

  • The manufacturer may cover parts and/or labor
  • Shipping coverage varies (inbound vs outbound) by manufacturer policy

If the issue is not covered (non-warranty repair):

  • The customer is responsible for diagnostic time, parts, labor, and shipping (where applicable)
  • We will provide an estimate where reasonably possible before proceeding

Shipping to/from service:

  • Customers are generally responsible for safely packaging equipment to prevent transit damage.
  • Damage caused by inadequate packaging may not be covered by warranty.

7) Turnaround Times

Repair timelines vary by season, manufacturer response time, and parts availability. Aquanix will provide status updates when available, but turnaround time is not guaranteed.

Peak season (spring/summer) may involve longer timelines due to higher service volumes.

8) Replacement Units, Parts, and Availability

If a warranty claim is approved, the manufacturer may choose to:

  • Repair the unit
  • Replace the unit (new or refurbished, depending on manufacturer policy)
  • Replace specific components/parts

Availability can affect timing. Replacement decisions are typically made by the manufacturer.

9) Customer Responsibilities (Important)

To help avoid problems and protect warranty eligibility:

  • Follow installation and operating instructions
  • Use the correct voltage/power setup and surge protection where recommended
  • Perform routine maintenance (cleaning intakes, checking lines, etc.)
  • Store equipment properly during off-season
  • Avoid modifications or non-approved parts

10) Consumables & Chemical Products

Pond bacteria, probiotics, and similar consumables generally have limited warranty applicability. If a product arrives damaged or incorrect, contact us within 7 days (Section 3). We do not warranty product performance where results depend on environmental conditions outside our control (water chemistry, temperature, algae load, etc.).
